I am a big fan of Rachel Maddow. I am not shy about that. That said, her introduction segment last night on MSNBC was absolutely outstanding, even for a convert like me who watch her show on a daily basis. In 20 minutes, Maddow, like a university teacher, was able to explain why there are US soldiers in the Sahel region, what role is being played by Chad, and why the recent travel ban decision by the Trump administration is a game changer and put at risk the american soldiers in this region of Africa. The US media rarely offer such a quality exposé on prime time TV. Chapeau Maddow.
